GROUP MANAGING DIRECTOR

Group Managing Director  – Real Estate Development & Projects.

An established property group, headquartered in Singapore, with a strong track record of profitable mixed and residential projects.   They are looking for a dynamic and resourceful change leader to steer the organization into the future, expand the business model, and generate new revenue streams and seize attractive investment opportunities in real estate in Singapore and overseas markets.

 

Key deliverables include:

  • Provide strategic leadership for the organisation by working with the Board and key management staff to establish long range goals, strategies, plans and policies.
  • Liaise with the Board in setting strategic goals, objectives, budgets, policies and procedures to enhance its market share, profitability and return on investment.
  • Assist the Board in carrying out its governance requirements and good governance practices in ensuring strong performance and high quality
  • Monitor and report the progress and performance of the company at Board and other scheduled meetings; and, to formulate and recommend to the Board necessary actions and measures to ensure that approved performance targets will be achieved.
  • Raise and ensure a high morale and standard of performance of all management team, demonstrate good team work, effective communication and continuous improvement achieving positive results.
  • Lead and build a high performing management team and coach them to improve performance and maximize their potential and career development in the company; and provide advice, guidance, direction and authorization and hold them accountable and responsible for the operation and management of their respective functional areas.

Requirements

  • Architecture, Engineering, QS or Building and Real Estate Management qualification
  • Extensive Executive-Level management experience (At least 10 years).
  • Extensive and deep hands on Real Estate development involvement (At least 15 years).
  • Residential and mixed development experience is required.
  • Keen to go down to the ground, investigate, lead and guide the team to resolve practical issues.
  • Relate well to team and can draw out the best in everyone.
  • Commercially astute with excellent judgement, and able to bring to the table visionary thinking and the capacity for innovation.
  • Strong drive, determination, and an eye for detail, an open and forward looking mind set and decisiveness.
